Your best defense against COVID-19 is

– Hand washing

– Avoid touching any orifices, especially on your face

– Wash fruits and vegetables (you do not know who has touched them)

– Avoid unnecessary travel to countries that your Public Health department has deemed high risk (link to public health: https://www.publichealthontario.ca/en/diseases-and-conditions/infectious-diseases/respiratory-diseases/novel-coronavirus/public-resources)

You may see many people walking around with masks. You do not need any mask unless you yourself have any symptoms of an upper respiratory track infection: cough, runny nose, sneeze. Masks are made to protect others form you. Hand washing is your best defense
